Set around a still-working harbour beneath Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront is one of South Africa's most-visited destinations. It blends shops and restaurants with the Two Oceans Aquarium, harbour cruises and street performers.
It is also the embarkation point for ferries to Robben Island, making it a natural first stop in Cape Town.
